Remember that short documentary I made a while back and posted on here? Well, it has been accepted to the Sacramento International Film Festival!

Finally, we’re getting noticed in the world of filmmaking!

Thanks to your super generous support and prowess voting skills my short documentary on stay-at-home dads, Why Not Dad?, won the online film competition I posted about a few weeks ago! Apparently, the local paper wants to do a column on me and the film which is super exciting! I’ve got my stopwatch handy…counting down my 15 minutes!

Some of you may already know that last year as a grad student I made a short documentary about stay-at-home dads in San Francisco called Why Not Dad? Well, in addition to having a baby and trying to be the best mom to her as I can I’ve also been submitting the film to film festivals all over the world. One of those is an online film festival where YOU the audience get to watch the films and vote on your favorite film to win. The last few days of voting are upon us and I’m counting on all of you to help my film win!
